Overview
Recently, NSFOCUS CERT detected that an open source API interface management platform YApi mongo injection vulnerability was publicly released on the Internet. Due to the splicing of a certain function in YApi, MongoDB injection can be realized. Unauthenticated remote attackers can exploit this vulnerability to obtain the user token (including necessary parameters such as user ID and project ID). At the same time, the command to be executed can be written in combination with the automated test API interface, and the sandbox can be used to escape, which will eventually lead to the execution of the command. At present, the official security patch has been released to fix this vulnerability. Affected users are requested to take protective measures as soon as possible.
YApi is an efficient, easy-to-use, and powerful open source API management platform that can provide developers, products, and testers with more elegant interface management services. Developers only need to use the interface data writing tools provided by the platform and simple clicks to realize the management of the interface.
