NSFOCUS Wins 2016 Information Management Award
NetworkWorld Asia Names NSFOCUS Solution “The Most Promising Cyber Security Solution”
Santa Clara, Ca. June 28, 2016 – NSFOCUS, a global network and application security provider, today announced that it has received top honors in the NetworkWorld Asia 2016 Information Management Award for the most promising cyber security solution category. The NetworkWorld Asia Information Management Awards, inaugurated in 2012, recognizes leaders in Information Security, Storage and Data Management for their huge advances made in these fields over the last few years. The awards are guided by a team of experienced editors with deep and broad industry knowledge, as well as a panel of CIO advisers with domain expertise and deep insights in Information Management.
The NSFOCUS solution takes a unique approach to protecting critical assets by providing an advanced network security platform using the latest threat intelligence to accurately detect malicious behavior. The company has combined this approach with a flexible deployment model that offers customers on-premises appliances, virtual software appliances and cloud-delivered security services. These diverse and flexible offerings make it easy for customers to gain access to the advanced security necessary to defend against modern cyber attacks.
“We are honored to receive this award from the panel of experts at NetworkWorld Asia”, said Attley Ng, Senior Vice President and GM Asia/Pacific. “They have a strong understanding of all of the solutions available in the market and this is a true validation of our approach as well as the value we are providing to our customers.”
The NSFOCUS network and cloud security platform includes DDoS protection solutions (ADS/NTA/ADSM and Cloud DPS), web application security products (WAF and WVSS) and next generation IPS (NGIPS). These products can be deployed separately, but also work in tandem to provide comprehensive, end-to-end threat protection from a single source.
“After a thorough analysis of the offerings in this category, it became clear that the NSFOCUS solution delivered the level of innovation, flexibility and extensibility we look for in a category leader”, said Victor Ng, editor-in-chief of NetworkWorld Asia and editorial director of the Enterprise Group for Questex Asia.
