Overview
Recently, NSFOCUS CERT detected that the technical details of the Harbor Unauthorized Access Vulnerability (CVE-2022-46463) were publicly disclosed on the Internet. Due to an access control flaw in Harbor, an attacker without authentication can access all information of public and private image repositories through this vulnerability and perform image pull. Currently, the technical details and PoC of this vulnerability have been made public. Affected users are requested to take protective measures as soon as possible.
Harbor is an open source trusted cloud-native registry project for storing, signing and scanning content. Harbor extends the open source Docker Distribution by adding functionality that users typically require, such as security, identity, and management. Bringing the registry closer to the building and running environment can improve image transfer efficiency.
