1.CPU threshold

  • The default threshold value is 80%.
  • The system CPU usage is updated every 10 seconds.

2.Memory threshold:

  • The default threshold value is 90%.
  • The system memory usage is updated every 10 seconds.

3.CPU temperature threshold:

  • The default threshold value is 90 °C.
  • The equipment CPU temperature is updated every 10 seconds.

4.Motherboard temperature threshold:

  • The default threshold value is 70 °C.
  • The motherboard temperature is updated every 10 seconds.

5.Fan Alert Switch:

  • If Fan Alert Switch is set to On, the ADS fan is monitored and an alert will be generated if the fan fails.
  • The fan status is updated every 10 seconds.

The following figures show how to configure these values.

Choose System > Hardware Alert Threshold > Edit. The following figure is displayed.

You can specify the server address and destination port and edit Syslog configuration as shown below, which are applied to all hardware alerts described above.

There are two options to send alerts in the Syslog configuration. When the scheduled alert is selected, alert logs will be periodically sent according to the configuration. When the threshold exceeding alert is selected,

  • If the preceding hardware parameters exceed the corresponding threshold value for 3 consecutive times, ADS will record a log and send it to the Syslog server to warn you if the hardware usage is too high.
  • If the preceding parameters exceed the corresponding threshold value for 1 time and then fall below the corresponding threshold value for 3 consecutive times, it means that hardware usage has exceeded the threshold and then it returns to normal. In this situation, ADS will record a log and send it to the Syslog server to notify you that it is normal again.
