1. Except it is required for the system reboot as the kernel changes after the engine upgrade, others will take direct effect automatically with no affection on running configuration.
2. It is recommended to save the running configuration and do the engine upgrade by selecting the maintenance window or a time that the operation will have the least effect on the business relatively.
