Telecom Exchange, one of the largest C-level networking events that provides unparalleled collaboration, education, and one-on-one engagement with the industry’s top decision-makers, is heading to NYC next week. Executives from all around the world will be meeting to discuss the complex network infrastructure ecosystems, technology and what it means for telecom. The event will also touch other current trends, including smart cities, 5G, the rise of AI, next-gen network infrastructure, financial networks, and network security.

The event will feature a few CEO roundtables, which gives CEOs a chance to share their predictions for tech and telecom’s future and to participate in forward-thinking Q&A sessions moderated by industry analysts and journalists. Our very own Guy Rosefelt, Director of Threat Intelligence & Web Security, will be speaking on a CEO roundtable that will discuss 5G, IoT and network security on May 15 at 10:00 a.m.

The New Requirements for Smart Cities: 5G, IoT & Network Security

According to a recent paper published by Forbes, 7% of local governments say IoT saves them money, but 86% say they have already experienced an IoT-related security breach. This reality will only become more prevalent as additional IoT and 5G-based services are developed and adopted and as the smart city gets smarter.
