SANTA CLARA, Calif. – January 25, 2016 – NSFOCUS IB today announced that Tasso Mangas, an industry veteran with a reputation for building successful sales operations in information security, has joined the management team as VP for North America. In his new position, Mr. Mangas is responsible for generating increased revenue in the U.S. and Canada, and will oversee all sales initiatives in these critical markets. He will also be involved in developing expansion strategies that help the company go up against established providers in this dynamic space.

Based in New York, Mr. Mangas has worked closely with Silicon Valley innovators since 1999. He was most recently with anti-phishing specialist Agari, where he served as VP, West, for Sales. Before that he spent more than a year at cloud and virtualization security pioneer HyTrust, where he ran all sales operations on the East Coast. Previously, he was on the management team at Altor Networks, which offered the first inline firewall; when the firm was acquired by network management conglomerate Juniper Networks, he was named Managing Director for US Enterprise Security. In that capacity, he managed large US enterprise proposals, and helped register the highest enterprise sales year in the company’s history. He is a graduate of the Economics and Business School at Athens University.
