LONDON, UK. – November 15, 2016 – NSFOCUS IB today announced that Richard Meeus has joined the company as Technical Vice President, EMEA. NSFOCUS was founded in 2000 to provide enterprise-level network security solutions and services primarily in the Asia/Pacific market. The new NSFOCUS International Business subsidiary brings advanced security solutions to the Americas, Europe, the Middle East and Southeast Asia.
Mr. Meeus brings to the role over 10 years of prior experience in both appliance and cloud-based services. In his new role at NSFOCUS IB, he will be building the technical pre-sales team to support the sales organization throughout EMEA, whilst helping to evangelise the NSFOCUS brand and products and to help integrate products and services on a global basis.
Mr. Meeus was most recently at Akamai for over 2 years, where he was head of the Security Pre-Sales team, EMEA, and dealt primarily with cloud-based DDOS and WAF services, and prior to that he held the position of Senior Sales Engineer, EMEA at Prolexic, working on cloud based DDoS Services. Earlier in his career he held senior positions at CriticalPath as Senior Systems Engineer and Mirapoint Software as Technical Sales Director.
