Primary Responsibilities:
- Develops product strategy, roadmap and monitors the products throughout entire life cycle
- Responsible for managing the successful implementation, launch & delivery of NSFOCUS’ security products
- Gather and document customer requirements for existing and future products
- Identifies, evaluates and recommends marketing opportunities consistent with product line objectives
- Performs marketing research, directs product schedules, and organizes interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the product on time
- Works closely with development, marketing, sales and operations creating product ideas and setting product strategy & positioning
- Designs and develops product management processes (e.g., marketing plans, pricing strategy, product positioning, product introductions and product updates)
- Conducts most complex financial analysis and business research to report on future and current product performance
- Manages & coordinates overall launches of products
- Forecasts shipment and revenue of product
- May work on more than one product in different stages of life
Related Experience:
- 6-10 years of direct experience in Network Security as Product Management, Solutions Architect or Systems Engineers
- Hands-on working knowledge of DDoS on-prem solutions and DDoS in the cloud solutions
- At least 2 years’ experience in product management for SaaS/cloud software solutions
- Experience in Enterprise Software, IT Security, or SaaS Software is a must
- Experience driving business plans, product roadmaps, assessing performance against metrics and project milestones, conducting comparative analysis and research to determine investment alternatives and product plans and messaging
- At least 1 year experience leading an Agile development team
- Direct experience in conducting primary research
- Direct experience in user experience research and design
Education and Certification:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related field
- MBA a bonus
