SANTA CLARA, Calif. \u2013 January 5, 2016 \u2013<\/strong> NSFOCUS IB today announced that management veteran Carlos Cabello has been appointed as the new VP for International Business Operations. Mr. Cabello has more than a 20-year history of progressive and results-oriented experience in this broad-ranging field, complete with profit-and-loss responsibilities. His extensive skillsets cover everything from supply chain management for direct and indirect global procurement and contract negotiation\/cost reduction to global logistics and new product introduction.<\/p>\n

\u201cAs we build on our base of subsidiaries in the U.S. and Japan and 1,500 employees worldwide, we know our focus must be on international growth, and Carlos is uniquely qualified to play a critical role in that undertaking,\u201d said Allan Thompson, COO of NSFOCUS IB. \u201cHis experience encompasses all of the disciplines needed to pursue new markets around the world, and he has compiled a peerless track record in a wide range of industries and specialties. We are very excited to have him on the management team, and we look forward to growing our company together.\u201d<\/p>\n

Mr. Cabello was most recently an Operations Management Consultant with CAB Engineering Computer, where he oversaw a variety of disciplines and responsibilities, including supply chain and service delivery strategy, procurement and sourcing, and operational excellence. Before that he spent more than eight years as Vice President of Operations and IT at security specialist LogLogic. In that capacity he led functions encompassing technical operations, new product introduction, logistics, transportation, service supply chain, and planning and forecasting. He also managed the development of order management strategies and logistics to meet company goals and customer requirements; reduced COGS 25% overall within his first six months and continued driving cost reductions quarter to quarter; streamlined the entire order fulfillment process; and managed all facilities.<\/p>\n

Earlier in his career he served as Senior Director, World Wide Operations at Network Associates\/McAfee, where, among other responsibilities, he managed manufacturing\/operations, technical support, IT and facilities for the entire company, and qualified new suppliers, CMs and ODMs with a new supplier qualification process, QBR metrics, and quality review processes across global manufacturing sites.<\/p>\n
