WAF licenses are classified into two types:
1. Trial-use license
After a trial-use license expires:
- System upgrades cannot be conducted.
- The Submit button is dimmed.
- The engine stops running.
- The system automatically enters the forwarding mode.
- Protection functions of the system lose effect.
2. Paid license
After a paid license expires, the system can still provide protection functions, but the system upgrade cannot be conducted.
The step of importing a license:
Click System Management -> System Tools -> License -> Click Browse to upload the license -> Click OK to submit the request
Please note: During the license replacement, the WAF engine will restart. We suggest scheduling downtime to minimize service impact.
